My brother’s wife died in June 2021 at a clinic in Lusaka. We were informed that the mortuary was full unless we pay the mortuary attendants a fee so that they may squeeze the body in. However, my brother did not have the money. The body was only moved into the mortuary after fifteen hours. It is sad to see how corruption has crept upon us like a virus.
