I wanted to register for a Tax Payers Identification Number (TPIN) and I was told someone already used my NRC number to get a TPIN ,so I need to go to boma offices to get a letter that states the NRC is mine. I was so much in a hurry coz I needed a bank account for my salary as it is TPIN is one of the requirements. Only to be told at the offices it takes about 7 working days to do it. But if u pay a sum u will be cleared today. Tears dropped. As if it’s not enough I needed finger prints so went to the police only to be told it takes 21 days to be cleared but if u pay a sum you will have them by afternoon.
