I had a raptured ear membrane, I got a referral from an ear clinic to a hospital. At the hospital, the guy at the Out Patient Department (OPD)told me I needed to see a nurse and then a doctor and then get on the waiting list which would probably take 3 months to be seen at the ear clinic. I was in so much pain and 3 months sounded like forever. As I walked away in pain and deep sadness, the same gentleman called and asked me to pass the other way to get inside. My face lightened up with hope, he then asked me to pay K300($13) to be booked in 2days time. I did and on Wednesday I was seen and received medication. It looked very normal to me at that time.
