It was on a Wednesday morning when my friend and I went to search for a job. As we walked hoping to be privileged by any company, we bumped into an old friend of mine who happened to be one of the workers at a certain Filling Station.

Unfortunately, upon asking for a vacancy. My friend and his workmate told us that if only we can pay a K1000($44) then we can consider ourselves to be picked.

This broke my heart and left hopelessly wishing never to ask again at that same Company. Corruption is real! That’s my painful and unbelievable experience while in search of a job.
