I visited a hospital recently. The lab guys lied that the cost would be K500 ($22.1). I refused to pay that amount and they inquired of the money that we had in hand and I said I had K200 ($8.83). My mother ended up paying only K60 ($2.65). I later learnt that the actual cost was K20 ($0.88) and also that the tests were free to other people. Evil people are taking advantage of vulnerable people.
