I was a victim to a transaction were a company subcontracted my vehicle for 90days at k1000 ($44.12) per day. We had a contract signed for this and vehicle was released. Unfortunately, the company director who hired our vehicle ended up collecting all payments without remitting any funds to us at the end of the contract and vehicle was completely damaged while in their custody. We reported the matter to the police and the said director was arrested and case pushed to court. I kept getting calls from the arresting officer requesting me to pay him some money if I wanted my case to quickly be heard in court.

Further the day my case was before court, the Prosecutor also started demanding for money for my case to be heard and well represented in court. I was so disgusted by the two officers who had no sense of professionalism in handling my case both at the police and the courts. I can confirm my case is still pending in court since Sept 2020 to date.
