Early this year I was referred from our local clinic to one of the teaching hospitals in Zambia. I got there and whilst asking for directions, the receptionist called her friend so she could attend to me, the lady came and was extremely kind and helpful, I found it a bit strange though. When they got my blood samples, she asked me to pay her and not the right channel so I could go home early, seeing that I was in pain, I agreed to it and gave her the money, she disappeared and came back hours later saying she was looking for change but had been unable to find it. She gave me back the money and asked me to deposit it in her mobile money I account which I didn’t do.
