It was the year 2016 when l was called by my friend, he said to me l know a brother who can help you get a job under a named Ministry as a psychosocial counsellor ..I was like wow you just don’t know how much l really need a job. Then he sent me the number of the brother.

Everything went well on that day as our conversation was based on assurance that l have already gotten the job that excitement in me made me write an application with his guidance then we had to meet at the headquarters of the Ministry and submitted a my application just at the entrance, then he said don’t go anywhere l will soon be back l was with my friend l said fellow I see were he is going  l followed behind and saw him entering into the office….l went back waited for him to return and he said thank you will be called tomorrow.

The following morning I was awakened by his call only to be told your application was successful come tomorrow with just a ka k1, 000($44.12)  for your medicals and other things l was like were will l get the money l am not working then, since I  was desperate for the job and I didn’t want it to pass me by l had to kongola (credit) from different people to make a  k1,000 ($44.12)  the money was really within 24hrs l went there called him, he was like l have you organized the money I said yes then l gave him the money and l was given a letter and a file number which even today l still remember a full number and l was told  come back and submit the letter in the office.

That day came  and I was filled with joy and excitement that truly God has given me the job little did l know that it was just a scam…I went to the office l gave him my letter and the file number they checked in their records  and he was like there is nothing of such in here where did you get the information that we are employing here sorry leave the office…l shade tears thinking how will l pay back the money l got from the owners…..l got the phone trying to call the brother his phone went an answered for many days until l followed him to his work place only to be told he was on leave…. this is how sad it ended on my part.
