Had an Instance earlier this year when I had committed a traffic offence, was stopped by a police officer by the road side. The officer jumped in the vehicle I was driving and asked me to drive to the Police station. As I drove to police station, he explained the offences to me, I agreed to one and denied the others. He told me the penalty charge for the offence was K400, of which I told him I didn’t have that amount of money. He then proposed that I pull over by the roadside and said I give him a second to consult with his “boss” that he was with when he stopped me. After the call, he proposed the boss would only accept K250, I denied and told him I only had K100. He was a bit hesitant until we settled for K150. I gave him the money and he let me go.
