I bought an application form for a nursing program at a nursing school premises within  Lusaka ,fortunately was shortlisted to attend aptitude tests later the man that called me to come through for the test called again saying I was able to go through but because there was so much competition I needed to see him privately to secure my place . I wondered what he meant to say then he said “you are an adult you know what I mean “immediately I was turned off and travelled back to the Copperbelt and gave up on the nursing career. I was so traumatized and never mentioned dreams of pursuing nursing ever.
