Corruption, it’s easy to gloss over the subject when we attach the fat faces and bellies of the corrupt. The pain and destruction of this vice strikes home when we instead attach the broken, hungry faces of the motherless child asking for alms on the street; the mother without an idea where the next meal will come from; the graduate who cannot find a decent job. Those are the faces less seen and less heard from the destructive trail left by corruption. That K2.2Million ($95,216) lost to corruption during 2020 would have gone a long way at alleviating some of these ills. I walked through Lusaka CBD and had those thoughts. Corrupt leaders make corrupt choices. You can stop corruption by not choosing corrupt leaders. #leadershipwithintegrity
